In most states they are 100% illegal. Make sure you check so you at least know

How can OEM manufacturers sell them? They come as factory options on Raptors and Ram TRX's.

And they have a disclaimer that they are not street legal, and Ford sells the B locks over the counter only, you can't get them factory installed. That way they are covered legally, what you do to the vehicle after you drive it off the lot is your business and out of their control.

You can get bead lock capable wheels on the raptor from the factory, but you have to buy the b lock rings OTC.

Figured I’d have more luck here than the wheel/tire thread. Looking to upgrade wheels and tires since I installed the ProCharger but, have a couple questions. How legal are beadlocks on the street? I know with off road vehicles in the past, beadlocks where rarely street legal or considered safe for everyday driving. Car is not my daily but, I do drive it a lot on the weekends. Looking to put Toyo 888 and was curious how those would work with the beadlocks. Looking at the forgestar F14 for reference. Anybody running these on the street? Just curious as to which front to run as I don’t really want skinnies. Plan on taking it for road trips every now and then and would rather have a wider tire up front. Thanks for any info.
You're good to run beadlocks. We sell a lot of Forgestar D5 and F14 beadlocks. You might want to look into the Mickey Thompson Street S/S. www.lethalperformance.com
