Agreed. I’d be curious to know qualitatively what you buy when you spend double for say Forgelines, besides higher costs being produced stateside.
Yeah made in the US, name brand, could be a little better here and there in strength, light weight, customer service, but in my opinion BC Forged is just as good in my opinion, we're dealers for both. Some people just prefer to stick with brands like Forgeline though, they don't trust things made overseas.

Wow, those are beautiful.

Fully forged? How much do they weigh?

Thanks! Yeah fully forged monoblock wheels. I believe they are 24-25lbs for 20x11.5 squared. I’ll try to get them weighed before I mount them.

Why would anyone go with anyone else?
Perhaps for support Tom as well as to support forum sponsors. That's why I went with Signature. Excellent outfit IMHO and Terrance is as knowledgeable as anyone on wheels and the 202x 500.

Hmm. I was talking about overall value. You know price vs quality. Signature wheels are good wheels, but if BC is as good and cheaper, then isn't that the way to go?

FYI BC allows you to order the wheels to be milled to use OE centercaps which is a nice touch. I currently have BCs on a couple of cars and they are beautifully finished even compared to the HREs on my 350R (and the Signatures I used to have).

Signature wheels are made by BC as a private label. Kind of like how BC makes some for Shelby.

Very nice! Those are similar to my favorite wheels, the SM10. That thin spoke style is killer on these cars.

Well..... that i didn't know. I knew they made them for Shelby, but not signature. That explains why BC is cheaper and of the same quality.

Do you know this as a fact?

Two things, Tom. First, I would say it's impossible to tell if two things are of equal quality and secondly and for me, most importantly, price is often not the prime directive. Relationships matter and difficult if not impossible to place a value upon.

A member above says that BC makes signature wheels.

Relationships, lol. If I get time later, maybe I can call you and tell you a story about another individual who was going to buy signatures..... and then why he didnt.

So they are built in the same factory by the same techs but the only difference is the design that signature provides. Sounds very interesting.......

Don't all wheels have to undergo engineering and certification? I wonder are the certifications different?

Cheaper isn’t always better, prices are only part of the equation, how about service ???

Oh boy, how bout that service......

They are made by the same company, same people, just to different specs (style, design, etc).

If everyone would agree to drift away from the signature topic, id be fine with that. But wow, wheels made from the same company by the same people for $1,000 less (as I have been told).

I dont want to get into it, but I could if pressed. Lets just leave it that BC wheels are a value for all of the previously mentioned reasons.
