I know this subject has been beaten to death, and I apologize for resurrecting it but I have a quick question regarding the tick. Does it ever increase with engine RPM’s?. My car has had the tick since I bought it used and I’m aware that it’s normal but here lately I’ve noticed it ticking even more as I rev the engine up, especially when next to other cars or a sound reflecting object. It might be hard to hear but I’ve attached a video displaying the sounds

I don’t know the answer to your question but it would make sense that the answer is yes.

But louder exhaust would solve the problem! That’s probably why I haven’t noticed the tick yet in mine.
