No...unless you are changing intakes (like to a Boss) and would require tune. Spend the money on something else.

Alex - I'd side with whatsup on this.

The factory TB is large enough as it is and I personally don't see any reason to upgrade unless you're shooting for a different IM along with maybe Long Tunes. Just because it's a larger diameter doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best. Think of it being similar to you or me drinking tequila from a fire hose; It just wont wont out too well

Ha - Just an analogy I've used here previously to get the point across. I've seen it from 2V's all the way up to Yote's. Bigger isn't better unless there's going to be corresponding mods in order to help the car breathe on both the intake and exhaust side. There's plenty of other things that I would do with the cost of that TB.

Ero - I'll always take manufacturer/vendor claims with a tiny grain of salt but with the aforementioned I think that you would yield somewhere in that neighborhood.

Saying throwing this on with nothing else will instantly add 12 is like saying changing your blinker fluid will help you run high 11's.

It was just an idea. I wanted to stay N/A, but cams are just going to be out of my price range, with labor prices here in the SF Bay Area.
