Battery Fitment Clarifications

Can someone confirm if the DieHard Platinum AGM Battery, Group Size 96R, 590 CCA Part # 96R-AGM battery will fit in our battery location? I'm do for a replacement and while id love to get a XSPower D4700 like my other car I can snag one of these DieHard AGMs for about $170. With that being said i've broken down what seems to be the dimensions of the OE battery and this one.

What concerns me is the massive increase in width. Advanced Autos website says this battery is a direct replacement on the page, but then says it is NOT a compatible replacement when you open it up. Ive quickly measures the battery holder in the car which seems like it would still accommodate this, realistically looking for a second set of eyes or confirmation.

I found a post on here that I think says this battery would fit but again not 100% sure.

I replaced my battery with an AGM from Advanced Auto on my dime 2 months ago (car sat at dealer for months, and didn't want another Motorcraft wet cell), and it fit perfectly. It had a different name then (don't remember it), but if the battery is 96R, the measurements have to be identical. It's probably the same battery, made by Clarios (previously Johnson Controls). I'd go for it. The only other 96R alternative is Odyssey, and it's a lot heavier and more expensive. Good luck.

You know the battery dimensions, why not just go measure the battery box and not use approximate numbers? And be sure you can return the battery in case it doesn't fit.
