I do have the nut , but the bolt has particular square shape head?
Yes, it’s got a square head so it locks into the back of the clamp without being held. This will be difficult to replace with a generic bolt - unless you can get a spanner on the generic bolt head with everything in situ ?

I’m not taking my battery cover off to check, but I don’t think that’s doable :

I think it’s an M6 thread, and again, if I recall correctly, either the bolt (or nut) is deformed to provide some self locking (or make it difficult to fully remove) - I’m mentioning this as it may hinder identification if you take the nut to the hardware store to find a suitable mating bolt :like:

Make this real easy on yourself don't spend $17.00 on a replacement part. Find a bolt with the correct thread and length then grind the head on a grinder to fit the existing battery clamp. Problem solved. If you have any mechanical ability at all a little grinding on the head till it fits and you are good to go.
