Hey whats up all. First off i'm a new member here and just put a deposit down on a Magnetic Ecoboost base w/pp and recaro seats. however i may have a regret. with that regret come some questions though, just wanted to see if i could get some feed back/advice.

So currently i live in SoCal and as you all know it is always hot, therefore leather interior wasn't my first choice (I currently have leather interior in my Acura and my back is always sweating and im over it). but the base dashboard as you all know is hideous. so is it really worth paying the extra $4,000 for a nicer looking dash and leather interior?

Another thing is i know the premium models have the switches and you could set Snow/Rain~ Track Mode Etc. Is that going to be a problem when our cars get re-tuned? im planning on getting a Accessport as soon as they come out and i know the factory mapping will no longer there, so i guess my question is ;Will the modes still work as they should with a aftermarket tune? and is it really worth me paying $4,000 more a better looking dash?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. all responses will be greatly appreciated

Keep in mind that when you upgrade to Premium, you also add cooled seats, which will definitely eliminating the sweating issue.

Ah piss, missed that... I know you're set on the Recaros, but have you tried the base seats yet? They're surprisingly comfortable and supportive.

Yeah man everything I have read says that if you have any desire for the other features of the premium leather seats (which apparently you do), the Recaros are just extra money for less features. Base seats are supposed to be world class from a bolstering and comfort standpoint. Dont look as cool tho granted. (The Recaros definitely do not have heating/AC or motorized adjustment/memory).

Between the two cloth seats though I would probably get the Recaro version. The base dash is still aluminum too, you really hate it?

yeah well i Originally was going to get myself a Subaru STI and was set on the Seats and performance but I've always wanted a boosted or supercharged stang and this is my chance, but yeah the Recaros really did it for me and leather Recaros would not be my thing with this california heat.

Well the Dash is actually nice but havent seen it in person. i just think since i have a Navi in my Current car and it lights up beautifully that was a focal point, but as i stated in the quote above; earlier in the year i wanted a new STI but those interiors are garbage compared to the base Mustangs. I'm sure i could live with it, but we'll see when i get it. Dealer said 8-10 weeks and i Ordered it yesterday
