I've been searching but can't find an answer. How much weight does the premium package add over a non-premium?

I think it's in the 90-100lb range. I might be a little high with my estimation.

I can't say for sure but my invoice has my GT premium at 3606 lbs

Maybe someone with a base GT knows the weight of their car also to get a decent estimation

I think the wheels make most of the difference but so would all the heated/cooled options. I would guess it's somewhere around 75-100lbs

That shipping weight is not accurate. Been discussed a ton on the forum.

A loaded GT premium with PP weighs right at 3810-3815 lbs. Base stripper models have been weighed right at 3700lbs for comparison.

I wish when people like motortrend tested the mustang they would have used the base PP. All of them I've seen have been premiums fully loaded. Bet that's a difference of .1 or 2 second 0-60

I doubt it would be that big of a difference in zero to sixty. In drag racing circles they say every 100 pounds you reduce your weight is worth a 10th in the 1/4 mile.

Previously, an S197 Base was 3580lbs and the Premium was 3620lbs.

I'd say at least 40lbs between two, maybe more this time.

The premium is $4600 "heavier".

Not worth it to me, saving 50-100lb is just a bonus.
