If you try roadcoursing you will be addicted.
And magnaride is very nice suspension but not the ultimate thing you want
I won the american muscle cup with the combo:
Ford perf struts and shocks
Bmr handlind springs( the stiffest spring for OEM strut style in the market)
Bmr sway bar front. Gt350r rear

Talking about 1000$ ish upgrade.

I think magnaride is great for "normal" activities and beginners but once you get better it won't be enough.
Oilnand diff Cooling will be an issue no matter what model u pick
Be ready to install an oil cooler and a diff cooler.
Have fun!

I had a 2016 GT Premium PP and now have a 2019 GT PP1. I hate that Ford charges $5k for the PP1 instead of the $3k they used to charge. I agree that most of the stuff is the same, but the Michelin PS4S tires are so much better than the Pirelli crap they used to put on the PP cars. I opted for no magneride because the car sits too high from the factory, and I know I would be pulling them.

How are you mainly going to use the car? If your a drag/straight line and cruise kinda person I would not go for the performance package. If your in to handling and braking then your getting a lot of nice parts. What is your budget??

The PP1 was a good value at $4k, now it's hard to justify the price increase to $5200 for MY20 if you don't need all of those. I skipped the PP1, and still regret not getting that package from the factory. However, i've upgraded to most of the PP1 content except the radiator
Strut tower brace, firewall brace and lower K-member $290
PP lower belly pan $125
PP Brembo brakes $1000
Torsen diff 3.73 gears - $600 plus labor 500
FP Track handling kit (better than PP1 suspension) - $1170 plus labor 300
PP1 wing $350
I have better wheels - wider and lighter SVE SP2 - $2200

I ended up spending more for the same stuff but i have better suspension and wheels plus i got the brakes prepainted red which were little more expensive. I don't care for the guages but i'm still missing the larger radiator and ofcourse unique ABS, EPAS and chassis tuning. If i would've done it again, i'd have bought a PP2
