Base = No HD Radio?

I just came from the ford 2015 build and price site. When building a mustang select 400A and scroll down to the bottom, or slide to the side.....it says the HD radio is standard with that package.

It does say that but for some reason it's not the case - 400A doesn't have HD radio, 401A does.

Job 1 & 2 cars needed to have the full Shaker Pro 12 speaker system to get HD radio. All Job 3 premium cars get HD radio.

That is some grade A horseshit right there. LOL

I would have ordered HD radio as a standalone option, but I did not want the rest of the stuff that came with it.

I can say, I'm not impressed at all with the 9 speaker system. Actually, it is rather disappointing.

It can be fixed with aftermarket stuff no doubt, just bummed it did not sound better from the factory.

It was mentioned job 3 cars would have it if it is premier trim. Does the head unit have a hd logo or how would you know if you have it? Sorry im not familiar with hd radio and don't have my car yet

Exactly ! I am going to run through the trial, but then really really don't want to have anything to do with them although I love their station #70.

Fact that 400A cars now have HD radio is quite a crap ! I wanted to have it, not wanted to pay for 401A to get it though.
