Base GT PP no toggle switches

I ordered a base Ecoboost with PP and Recaros as well. Only reason i didn't get the Premium is because i dont think the leather Recaro Seats are cooled.

I don't think any of the Recaros are heated or cooled...

Why would Ford go to the ridiculous cost and expense of building a separate PCM for non-Premium-equipped vehicles? It would make much more sense to have the same PCM, especially for how much they "cost" and simply leave features inactive or wires unhooked from certain models.

I would be willing to bet that when people have enough time to go snooping in both models, they will find out how to do this and it'll be a mod that some of the non-premium owners end up doing to their cars down the road.

That was the case with the upgraded instrument clusters with MyColor in the 05-07 cars. They had a blank plate on cars with the standard cluster, but the wiring for the three button control panel was still there, which means you could simply swap in the upgraded cluster and plug in the control panel and that was it.

Of course they changed this in the middle of 07 and got rid of the redundant wiring on the regular cluster models.

This is what I was thinking. The parts look interchangeable, but I know it will not just pop right in. Just hoping that someone changes one out. This is one of the few features from the premium package that I would like on a base model.
