I kinda wish the base would've been more base. I'd like manual Windows, mirrors, locks. Like the mud 90s base cars.

I can see that. I got mine as a summer only, take to the track several times a year, fun car. I really kind of wish I could just start with a very basic car, check off the big motor, manual trans, big brakes and performance suspension with absolutely nothing else. I bought this car to drive, not to get me from point A to B. But I also understand not everyone is like me.It's not about any possible decrease in weight or the associated (and largely theoretical) increase in performance either.
What it is about is getting today's performance undiluted by all of today's features and luxuries. Maybe it's about the 'character' of the car having more in common with old-time hotrodding, standing in opposition to the "why not have it all?" thinking that is all too prevalent these days.
