That's my expectation on power too. Probably not enough to notice, but even if it is just a slight bump, it makes me happy because it differentiates more. Mostly, I'm just hoping the Owner's manual gives details like this. I like having as much documented info as possible on my toys! It's the engineer in me.

Thanks for all the Congrats, It was a long six months.

Today was 65 and Sunny, so I got to take my MY2015 out for its first real test. All I can say is "hooooly Cow" This car is such a blast to drive in a spirited fashion. After a few high speed runs and some aggressive cornering practice, I went and picked up my salesman. I offered him the option to drive, he declined. Bet he wishes he drove now. I took him on a spirited ride and but kept it below 105 (for safety) to demonstrate how much more confident these 2015s are. Next I took him down the interstate off ramp with his door window now the windshield casually explaining to him the outstanding handling characteristics. I forgot to mention to him I learned the art of drifting in Japan. On our tame ride back to the dealership, he asked to check out the air cooled seats...lol
I took it to the service area to have a look at the under carriage, there was no damage, scraped or new paint or parts. That wasn't my car on the carrier. By the time I got back to the sales area to say bye, everyone already heard about his ride.
I then went on a few more routes to check out various features. I was quite impressed. I had driven a MY15 before, but never in a drive it like you stole it manner.
I've never had so much fun in a Mustang...ever! Then I headed home to pick up the wife, she had yet to drive a 15. Her first words were "I love these seats" then when she pressed the peddle "ooooh" She has a hard time driving 70 on the interstate, she thinks it is fast. Today, on a two lane, I said, you know you are doing 85, she said "huh, it doesn't feel that fast" This car just inspires all kinds of confidence, even on back roads. It was really hard holding back until I'm confident of its range on public roads. This car will be a heck of a ride on a road course.

Great pictures! Cute dog! Does it have some German Shorthaired Pointer in it? We have a GSP.

Anyone who has never tried drifting should get some old tires and have a go with these new Mustangs. It is as easy as an old 280Z. I don't recommend it on your good tires, you will ruin them. I did it once yesterday for a 1 time demonstration for the salesman. These tires are way too expensive to keep doing it. However an extra set of rims and junk yard tires are on my radar.

Thought I agreed with you on this before MC, but since I don't see it... "Ditto!"
That was one of the main reasons for purchasing the LE for me, aside from the joy of owning one of the legendary, iconic, 50 Year Limited Edition's.

I have to admit, when I initially placed my order and went with the auto, I was slightly concerned that I may have buyers remorse...
But, after having her for more than one year now, and watching others on the track, it seems that the A/T is holding its own against the Manual gearbox. I must admit when using 'sport' mode the downshift is spot on; when driving in 'manual', the paddle shifters are responsive and quick, and it has certainly saved my bad knees and back a number of times in MD, DC, & VA traffic! (Buyer's remorse, what's that?)

I'm frequently surprised at how many Mustang owners are not familiar with the 50 Year LE (particularly during car shows I attended this past spring, summer, & fall). I suppose since there have been so many changes from the previous model, and due in part to the 'Appearance Pkg.', it's difficult to keep up with for some. I presume that those who don't know about it simply aren't reading up on what's new on the market, either due to a lack of interest, a lack of time, or because they've dedicated their time to learning about their model vs. the new model / trim pkg. that they don't own, or won't own.

Or, perhaps it's just that those of us who purchased them had nothing to do but wait, and read about, the LE's while we waited on their arrival. Therefore we have an abundance of knowledge that the general public simply doesn't have?

Regardless, I'm thrilled with my LE. This beautiful new pony drives like no other that has come before. She's sexy, responsive, handles like a dream, and has not only met, but exceeded my expectations ten fold. I can't help but stare at her when she's near, she's absolutely stunning; I am truly in love!

Ford has definitely gone above and beyond with the S550. The attention to detail, fit and finish, and overall design are outstanding! :ford:
Sure it would be nice to have more HP, but isn't that always the case?
For most, myself included, that's one of those things you simply can't ever get enough of. Although, I find that there aren't too many places where I can mash the throttle and utilize her full power. (That doesn't stop me from trying though).

The biggie for me is having an auto with the performance package
