They have more torque and power. I will put it on the Dyno after I run about three or four tanks of gas through her and post the numbers for sure. The other stuff will be in the welcome kit.
You the man!!! You just made my night! :hail: :ford:

Thanks, I learned in a few hundred feet, the summer tires are no good on cold wet pavement and this car is ridiculously easy to control when its back side steps out. I can't wait for some warm dry weather

The snow/ice driving mode works well for that. I use it a lot, but it's not as cold here as where you are.

It's sticks very very well in warm and dry weather.

Your info about more power matches with my butt dyno about how much better it feels than my 11 did. I need to go drive a 15 gt to compar.

That's cool! Great benefit for LE owners that really will up the "special" factor. I was wondering if this was one of the Easter eggs :)

OK, the car is great, but there were a few bummers.
- There were 30 miles on the odometer (4.8 when it left Flat Rock)
- There is a one inch gouge on the drivers side a pillar, it was done with the cover on. ... The A pillar is too bad to buff.
30 miles were from a QA check? dealer going to repaint or do scratch repair? Sorry about those things :(

I hope this is true (Why Wouldn't Ford advertise it?)...

When people ask me what is different about the LE, besides being more expensive. I feel somewhat embarrassed having to answer.

I tell them about the cosmetic changes and try and keep a straight face.

Because of the Anniversary Package, available as an option on other models, it basically boils down to Ext. Color, Int. Color, Wheel Color, Window & Plaque stating 1964 built (Too much of a limited production, IMO). Sure would be nice to be able to say, it comes with more power, everyone understands that.

I'm still on board and look forward to having a slightly different looking Mustang than the other 15s, that is, until the GT 350 becomes "THE" Mustang that everyone will drool over and instantly recognizable as a truly unique Mustang.

The miles were put on after it left Flat Rock. I had a friend send pics of it and he said it had 4.8 on the Odometer when it was parked at the 3W ramp. The paint guys are going to evaluate the scratch tomorrow.

It would require a whole new emmisions certification?

I make sure to mention upgraded suspension and brakes over the pp. It is true afterall. I tell them different motor and computer. Also both true. What makes them different is what we don't know. (They both have different part numbers from the gt and different material codes at the plant)

I've read the posts about the Suspension, Brakes & Part #s. Hope it equates to better performance...But trying to explain that (Different part #s) to friends is, well, Frustrating-->:ford:

Haha. Yes you're right. That's why I just say "different motor and computer". If they ask, only then do I explain.

Husker, I had many of the same concerns. However, I'm thrilled now saying, not only is it the Limited Edition, but it is also the highest performance Mustang from MY 2015. Unique suspension, brakes and powertrain. Again, I'm hoping the special leather bound owner's manual provides some details. I've never had such mystery in a vehicle purchase! Won't be doing any aftermarket except exhaust now. Best to keep this thing stock in case I get a wild hair and exchange it for GT350 someday. I'm not holding out for that though, this was too painful a wait and I'm expecting mine any day now.

Congrats Chief! Would you expand on the LE's having more power and torque? I'm aware of the different PCM numbers but is this accomplished by different parts or a "tune" from Ford racing? Obviously the motor would see improvement from a CAI but is it worth it to go with an aftermarket "tune" if the car already has one? Thanks

I won't know until after the Dyno. The people who could tell me, would not tell me very much in the way of details. It is still close hold and until confirmed just a rumor. The engine numbers are different too. As soon as the tear down manual is out, we will be able to find out more. I'm anxious to get on some warm dry pavement. If it is as spirited as it was yesterday, the only thing I would do to it is add a cat-back to announce its presence better. Even with a modest power and torque bump you won't be able to tell the diff. All of the different part numbers could be the same part, just exclusive to the LE to make it harder to duplicate down the road.
