5D Mark III, Tamron EF 24-70mm f/2.8L , this is her travel camera and lens. She wants to sell me this rig cheap as her shutter count is climbing pretty high. Also why she was willing to have it hanging out the window at 70 MPH (the clean bridge shots) She has an identical set up with the newer EF II Canon version of the lens for weddings and everyday events. She has cases of cameras for specialty shoots too, but because of their cost only takes them out when the venue is insured. ( I feel slighted that she brought her ragged camera...:lol
She says this set up is all one person needs to get professional results, but warns me if I don't spend time learning technique and settings, I'm better off with a point and shoot. I can get shutter speeds and all that if you want when she gets back on New Years Day. She is in Alaska this week.
