Anyone got videos of the AWE touring with catless headers? All videos are welcomed.

I ran that combo. It’s OBNOXIOUSLY loud. With cats it was absolutely beautiful. Cats removed…. OMFG NO NO NO. Sold the cat back. Went to Borla Touring with center big resonator.

I am in the mountains with terrible internet so I can’t upload. But Here is a thread I posted a while ago of my set up. If you don’t like loud. It’s not the setup for you. I loved the sound with stock headers. But hated the H pipe with catless(too much “tearing” and wasn’t smooth sounding) Switched it out for the borla switchfire midpipe and love it

Can confirm this 100%! I had this exact combo and it was biblically loud. It was awesome, don’t get me wrong, but would have attracted way too much attention. I ended up welding in a big dual 3” in/out resonator x pipe and that saved the day.

I like how deep it’s sound but it sounds like it’s almost as loud as the corsa extremes lol. Are you still in FL? I am in central FL.

Who makes the 3” in/out x pipe resonator and where can I purchase?

I bought a Magnaflow one that my shop custom modified to fit around my 3.5” GForce aluminum driveshaft (in my Camaro). I believe a company called Jones makes a better flowing version so if I ever need to replace it, that’s the route I’d go. But here is my customized version lol:

I ran this same setup loved my AWE Touring before catless longtubes so I added Borla 3" Resonator it was a direct swap with H-Pipe, no cutting or welding just unbolt the H-pipe and slide this in. has the OE connect at the front to 3in at the rear and is 3in internal diameter and has a built in H-pipe. At first it will seem like it quieted it down too much but after about 2000 miles of driving it burnt in and sound amazing, only loud when you get on it. I am now running this same setup boosted and still sounds amazing.

Hit up the guys at Beefcake Racing and mention you are a 6G member and they help you out on the price.

It’s crazy that the exhaust is still so loud with the resonators AWE puts on it.

This is true, I put that resonator on and thought it was way too quiet. Quieter than before the headers. Should have put more miles on it to see how it sounded burned in.Only put about 500 miles on it before switching to the switchfire. I do like loud though lol
