All autos are aluminum

Auto GT came with 3.15 or 3.55, Ecoboost Auto had 3.31 and 3.55 option

Manuals came with 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73 (Torsen), and 3.7L manual had a 3.15.

SO basically ONLY diff that is 100% certainly NOT aluminum is the 3.73. Everything else could be a aluminum OR steel case.

If you go with a 3.15 and want to keep your 3.73 as is, you'll need to get a pinion flange. The 3.15 only came in autos and the flange is different than on manual cars
That's not true.

3.15 came in an iron carrier for the manual V6

Appreciate that info, hadn't thought of that.
I've got a 3.15 and 3.31 sitting in my garage waiting on me to decide. I've also got a PP car with a PD blower. I don't think I'm making as much power as you, but I'll still spin fourth on 305/35/19 Nitro NTO5's.
