So far, I have done 3 autocross events and my car is still under 1k miles. The response these cars have for being so big really is impressive. From my experience so far, I have been competitive with other vehicles which are categorized in the car world as handlers; Miata, STI, Corvette, etc. For all three events, I have ran CAMC.

My car is:
- GT Premium
- Performance Package
- Recaros
- Voice Nav

The first event I went to, I only had 218 miles on the car. Not only was I getting a feel for the car at autocross, I was still getting a feel for the car in general. I had four runs and did them all in "track" mode with "sport" steering. Looking back, the track was very fast, so "sport+" probably would have been a better option. I placed 76 out of 138 drivers. The most overwhelming characteristic I noticed instantly was the brakes. The bite these Brembo's have is incredible. I could brake at the absolute last moment with ease. For the first event with a fresh car, I was happy with the results.

Two days after this event, I installed:
- Eibach Sportline springs
- Roush rear wing

The second event, which was a week later at 532 miles, I did a little better because I knew what I was expecting and had a better feel for the car. I had five runs total. The first two in "track" mode and "sport" steering and the last three in "sport+" mode and "sport" steering. This was a very fast track and I found with the car in "sport" as opposed to "track", it handled the high speed turns much better. I don't remember the final place, but I finished 2nd in my class out of 8 drivers.

The third event, at 901 miles, was much different than the first two. The track was set up in a smaller area, so there were many more tight turns and much less overall speed. The final times for everyone were in the 38ish-45ish second range just like the first two events, this layout just required much more tight, precision driving. In this course, since the vehicle speed was slower throughout, "track" mode with "sport" steering was the best combination. There wasn't enough speed to really lose the car in turns and the small amount it did, it was slow enough to be very controlled. I finished 2nd in my class and 9th overall out of 48 drivers.

To date, my best Accelerometer stats are:
- Right turn *1.15g
- Left turn *1.06g
- Braking *1.12g

Overall, I am very happy so far for being a stock car with lowering springs. I'm sure with more seat time in this car, it will only improve.

What's everyone else's experiences so far? Post them up with what your car is, mods, etc!

Nice. What differences did you note with the new springs?

To be perfectly honest, not a ton different. This car isn't like the older cars where stiffer, progressive springs fixed about half the body roll and made it feel completely different. The PP springs were already pretty good. I mainly got them for the look because it looks about a billion times better lower. If anything, I may be able to hold a little more speed through turns. But its almost negligible.
