If your airbags pop, you'll know exactly what your air fuel mixture was by looking in a mirror.

I seriously doubt autometer ran that through deployment tests with airbags. The added mass of a gauge hitting your grape could be a very significant difference.
why would you wanna cover up the side airbags?
I just wanted to update everyone regarding airbag/curtain deployment. I received mine yesterday and I would like everyone to know this gauge pod will be completely safe to use and the nay sayers can finally see how wrong they were lol.Then go for it. I hope you never get in a wreck, but if you do, could you have the presence of mind to update this thread?
Was the original A-pillar easy to remove (and was the AM piece easy to reinstall)?Install was pretty straight forward, comes with a screw that tightens onto one of the clips behind the pillar. Those are the aero-force interceptor scan gauges and yes they do have a shift light if you want it to be turned on or not.
