I don't know Dirk, I think you are way off base on this topic. Besides the actual dimensions actually being smaller with the exception of width it also appears visually smaller. I can say this after seeing it in person and in close proximity to the current model.

Was the 2015 on display elevated? I'd be careful about judging its size and or looks until seeing one outside on the street.

The dais was maybe 3", but you sort of stand on it a little when you get up to it. I said maybe it looks different on the street. Similarly, the C7 Z06 was MASSIVE, and it was raised higher.

C7 looks big in the rear, 2015 mustang looks shrink wrapped to me.
