Auto lock?

FordPass app sucks ...

It's the most archaic junk app I've seen when compared to other vehicle manufacturers. I know with my 2018, I can't lock the car using FordPass and in fact there's hardly any features that are even useable in that POS app. What's the FordPass app good for, getting "trophys"?!? LMAO...

Well most importantly nothing got messed with. Probably just looking for loose change and cash. I leave my stuff unintentionally unlocked all the time. (Absent minded)Sucks, but i have had auto lock screw me more than once. Running back to the car just as it locks. I have used the Ford pass to lock the doors on my other ford vehicles from across the country.

Are you sure you left it unlocked? With the keyless entry enabled, it is possible to unlock the car with the right equipment, if they manage to connect to your key.

The 2016 S5500s don't have autolock so probably none do. Lots of threads about finding a way. Never saw any DIY fix.

Really stupid for option to not exist. I had to relearn to manually lock by touching handle or with fob after a series of cars that locked automatically.

Are you sure you left it unlocked? With the keyless entry enabled, it is possible to unlock the car with the right equipment, if they manage to connect to your key.

I mean I really don't think that the case. I had my hands full and got distracted by a kitty so I probably left it unlocked lol

I have found that with my keys in the kitchen (which is not to far from the garage) I can just grab the handle and mine will unlock. I have not tested the range at which that stops happening.
