I doubt it. When I hooked up my AIM data logger and the Mustang profile, it did not recognize the gear selection. This is the reason it was not in my videos on the dash layout.
I tried to use my Aim Solo DL with my '17GT350R and could not get the Solo to recognize my gear selection either. I called the toll free number for Aim and we tried a few different settings. Nothing has worked. The speculation is that there was a change to the wiring for 2017 and Aim has not come out with a compatible profile yet. BTW, the Auto-blip is not compatible with 2017's yet either so it could be the same issue.

I can (almost) see this on one the track. Everyday driving I can see this being annoying particularly if you have been driving manual cars for a long time.

I love the idea it just seems clumsy based on the available sensors. Id be interested to see who still uses it on the street after a few months.
I didn't use it on the street after leaving the parking lot. :) It just isn't set up for all the nuances of daily driving. Wide open on a track, it works great but that's where it ends.

There's no sensor, but Harry's Lap Timer figures out gear based on speed, rpm and gear ratios....

FYI: I've been enquiring with Andres regarding this Auto-Blip voltage issue as well. This was his last response on 02/11/17.

"Hi Joseph,

We are working on a solution but at this point we don’t have a timeline as to when this will happen.

Regards,
Andres"

Not sounding too positive right now. I really want this thing because rev matching in this car requires a lack of bone matter in your right ankle. LOL. Never had an issue in other cars I've owned. So, in the meantime, I've ordered my Garageline spacer (in black) and i'll be ordering the SPR pedals.

The SRP pedals are the cat's pajamas. Easy to roll your foot from brake to accelerator even with light pedal pressure. Don't fake it with the auto-blip.

Do they also raise the accelerator to kill two birds?

Lex may be referring to driving in slow-moving, almost stop-and-go, traffic. It's not always necessary to use any throttle to just keep moving more or less "with the flow".

If you aren't coming to a full stop you should be in some gear (preferably one that doesn't cause 'lugging'). Not 'coasting' in neutral with the clutch engaged. Maybe this is something that the Auto-blip people need to work on.

Yup exactly.. Going out to cars and coffee you have to drive through the crowd which isn't one particular density. So you drive a bit and than have to stop or slow down having to hit the clutch and brake. Same scenario applies at shopping center parking lots with people in the way. Why go into neutral knowing you'll just have to go back into gear when you can just use the clutch get past the obstruction and than go back into power. The blip does help in this regard letting people know your there. For street use you don't need a long blip so its not super annoying but noticeable. I just wish the auto blip would count gears and not blip for first. You have to program compression and full release of the gas, brake and clutch pedal so it does have an learning function.

BS (them)...I spoke with those guys last year about my '16 with the same issue and they still don't have a fix! That is ridiculous considering how much their equipment costs.

It does not. If you feel it is necessary to raise it the accelerator pedal assembly lends itself to putting a shim in place fairly easily.

Side benefit is with the diamond pattern it has way more grip than the factory pedals when wet. They look great too!

Another company makes money selling a $95 shim to do that for the factory pedal. So people feel its needed. So it sounds like this company is missing a bet by not offering a thicker pedal for maybe $50 more to steal that business and it would pretty much be pure windfall.

I haven't looked at the factory pedal or what it mounts to, but if people are spending $95 for a "shim" there must be some reason. But I can't rule out the reason being stupidity. LoL

Not everybody has the desire or the know-how (or the equipment) to do their own fabrication. Especially those who never took a shop class or had exposure to the use of basic machine tools.

It doesn't look like a very difficult piece to make, if you've got a vice, a saw to cut whatever material you're going to use, and a drill (drill press?) and a couple of bits to make the holes with. Nobody else is ever going to see it, so it wouldn't have to be a work of art, just functional.

People have done something similar to this shim with a few $ worth of stuff out of the hardware bins at the big box hardware places.

Coasting or idling with the clutch depressed will accelerate throw out bearing failure as well as crankshaft thrust bearing excessive wear or failure.

The auto blip has been available as a stock feature in many other cars. Its not faking anything just leveling the field, some people turn the nannies off some don't feel comfortable doing so, are they faking car control?

I've got SRP pedals (have them in any performance car I own) and I find that, with them, there's no need to add an additional spacer to bring the loud pedal forward.

I don't dispute anything you said and to each his own.
I like the challenge to try and learn the PERFECT heel toe downshift. It is quite satisfying when done well. Just trying to provide some encouragement to whoever might enjoy it as well after enough practice.
