So I wonder who was actually first? There are a couple of headers on the market now. Not that it really matters - competition is good in this respect :)

Has anyone seen these or know much about them?

(I love their disclaimer in the middle of the vid)

they've been around for a long time, mate has their catback on his VE ute, sounds good and very reasonably priced.

good to see more aussie companies bringing out stuff for the mustang

Sounds nice, looks good but their website scares me. I cant get any links to their dealers to work in NSW and there is no contact details except a phone number that wasn't answered.

I love that they are a small family owned company but I wish they would jump onhere and give us more info :-(

Jump on Street Commodores or JC, should be able to find a dealer. I can't remember any off top of my head

Liverpool Exhausts website worked for me.
Both LE and Hurricane sites are like 10 years old and probably not updated.

Try FaceBook - there's half a dozen Mustang pics (including a couple of old ones) on the LE FB page, and it has a link to Hurricane Headers FB page - which is apparently quite new.

How much is that going to cost? Interested to see how competitive they are

You also might want to take a look at the SOLO Performance Turbo Back Exhaust, if you haven't already. Still considering this one myself.

Dont think the turbo back will fit our stangs, otherwise I would have gone that route a long time ago :(
This is due to the downpipe being for LHD. Solo Performance wont guarantee it will fit our cars. Their catback on the other hand will definitely fit, but if its the catback we are comparing to, then magnaflow in my opinion sounds better.

Ahh yes, that's a very good point. Thanks. I'll stick with the Magnaflow Street then. :)

I have been in contact with Herrods in Campbellfield, Melbourne. They can now fit cat backs to the Mustangs. They tell me they have developed the exhaust to meet AS which means 5 litre systems will be about 10dB lower than US imported type. They supply Ford Racing systems by Borla. Planning to go over when they have one on show to listen to.

I'm in two minds about it the moment but I guess I cannot make up my mind unless I listen to the bloody thing. They also tell me they can provide lowering kits too.

Just got quoted $2900 for a magnaflow street catback to be installed by Toms Mufflers here in Darwin. He on sells them from the magnaflow dealer down in Adelaide, supercat converters. Seems pretty damn high. Can order one from CJ Pony for just under $2000AUD including shipping. Obviously import taxes on that so say $2200. Basically charging $700 for install! Would have thought $200 max for install of a system like this. Probably 15min of work for someone experienced.
