That doesn't sound good. I thought production was ramping up? I hope anyone with current orders and awaiting allocation aren't affected by this.
Yeah this came as a surprise to me. It looks like stuff started flowing again and many customers saw movement on their deliveries. Its a tough time to buy a new car.

That's at least 3 of us with builds at the start of September.
Must be a big RHD batch.

Well I've got an email from my dealer.
Segmentation date: 7 Sept 2022
ETA: 17 December 2022.

Hopefully I'll have a VIN in the next couple of weeks.
Thats awesome news. You stole my segmentation date. I was originally 07-09 but now 12-09. :p

Can someone remind me of the meanings of the various date descriptions please.

I used to know them off by heart when I ordered my last one but that was 6 years ago. Watched it come through the Panama canal on webcam. I think the screenshot of that is still on the forum here somewhere.

This is what I got from my dealer this afternoon.

Lol, I was going to do this. But it was on a Fri or Sat night and I got … distracted 😆

Is the gate release date the date it was finished and rolled out of the plant or the date it left Flat Rock to travel to Baltimore?

Found the old photo of the Parsifal coming through the Panama Canal in 2016.

Wow we were desperate for any information in those days.

Not quite so obsessive this time, with a Mustang to drive while I wait.
I spent hours tracking that ship last year, while taking my new Mustang on its liesurely South Sea Cruise, half expecting it to sink - especially when it went missing at various times! (lol)

Yeah man my car was on that boat, the good old Parsifal 🥰 . My car was 10 days short of a year from ordering. I got mine in Mid September 2016

No Mustang yet..... waiting for it
Hi everyone....
Found this forum the other day which has been a great read and made me contact my ford dealer to find out more...
I ordered my GT on the 11th of March and was told then I should have it just before Christmas, A month later I went back to find out more and later that day she rang me back and said after complaining to ford Australia about leaving the customer's in the dark they said they will change a order to mine (don't know how true this is but went with it) and it will have a delivery date of 20th of October. So I haven't done anything since then until I found this forum. Which I went to the dealer yesterday and ask for a printout of the order.
I received it last night and I have a Segmentation Date : 19-Aug-2022 and a ETA : 12-Nov-2022 and a Vin number which I'm still very happy about.....

I've Ordered a GT Manual, Mischievous Purple, Blacked out Badging
