Added a stealthy but functional boot closing strap, to keep the dirty finger prints away. Works perfectly.

Sorry, Iām not like everyone else š I went with gloss stripes. Should have mentioned that.
Good point though, doubt it would work well with matte stripes/paint, it would fill in all of the roughness and leave a gloss look.
But if you get a matte specific ceramic coat it should work fine.
I guess itās due to the Ford USA to Ford Aus to dealer communication path. Just too much separation so the dealers canāt get info, and big Ford doesnāt bother sharing clearly. š¢
