Checked mine the other day, mine was built in April of 2017. Not seeing much gap in the rear and I checked all other panels to find significant flaws. If anything, it's so minor that only a perfectionist would be really upset. Nothing I could find that would be worthy of a dealer trip.

My rear panel gap matches what you have. I won't worry unless the gap size increases.

If you demand better you will get it. 2018 and none here. I know it’s early ......but that new engine is a masterpiece and a much better trans. No more lock out @ 7500 like my 2013 boss. Low end torque has improved also.

I've seen much worse. I'm glad my '17 doesn't have the problem, but I looked it over really hard before I even made an offer on the car.

If I didn't see my mustang roll of the delivery truck myself, I would have thought the thing was impounded, taken apart to check for drugs and put back together for a police auction.

although, I've owned worse. my 09 G8 GT front fascia started drooping so much that what was a 1/8 inch body gap between the fascia and hood ended up almost a 3/4 inch gap by the time I sold it.

Exactly the point, your 2007 is a rare low volume and old past gen Ford. It is not a recent Ford.

No your MY 2007 is old and a prior gen. I said gaps are “common in recent years”, meaning in recent model years.

More on topic, my 2016 GT has acceptable panel gaps.
