Mines been sitting in my room for a while, can anyone recommend a shop in South Florida that can install this splitter? The last shop I called quoted me 5-6 hours of labor just to take the bumper off.... What a joke.

bro the first time I took my bumper off, totally having no clue took me 45 minutes. last time I took it off, 15 minutes. you need three wrenches, that's it. really easy.

if that shop wants to charge you 6 hours just to take off the bumper, they are either crooks or retards...

Yea, I live in a condo and HOA rules don't allow me to work on vehicle and I would probably mess up the drilling. I rather just bring it to a shop.

I'm so fed up with this apr front splitter, I have been to about 4 body shops in South Florida who have either said they won't install it or they wanna charge me 7+ hours of labor which is INSANE.. Not paying 700$ to install this thing. Many shops saying they won't do it at all because their SCARED to mess up drilling a hole. Can anyone please in South Florida who has installed this thing help me.

go to home depot man and spend $50 on a black and decker drill combo set or spend little more for something decent that you'll use the rest of your life... you can do it! a drill is a vital tool to life lol. gotta have one!

Nope, many different preferences out there - angled vs straight, wide vs narrow. Unless you do something truly retarded, the support will be fine...

Since they are drilled to suit, you can place almost anywhere. FWIW, I placed mine so they are mounted on the top side of the lower grille piece, so if I want to go back to stock, I just replace that piece (cheap take offs from everyone going aftermarket), and there are no holes in my bumper cover, which is quite a bit more expensive and also carries color-matched paint.

Jon|3.7 Ditto what BTM said i have mine drilled into the lower grille. For the same reason easier to replace the grille than say patch the bumper
