Apple Carplay malfunction?

Not sure if this has been talked about before but when I plug in my iPhone, half of the time car play works and half of the time it doesn't. During the times that it doesn't work I get an error message on my iPhone that says "iAP2 NCM Accessory: The connected device is not supported." I have an iPhone XS Max and have tried 3 different original apple wires as well as plugging them in to all of the USB ports in the Mustang. Anyone else experiencing this?

Are you getting a GPS error as well? Half the time I plug my iphone in CarPlay doesn’t work and I get a GPS error. I’m not getting the message you are getting though

Yes I also get that error as well but only sometimes.

I do experience this as well
Sometime it just doesnt work from the start and shows the gps error
Sometime it disconnects halfway and the gps error shows up
Changed the cable, problems disappeared for good!
