I'm about to order the GT500 valance with 4.7 tips which would require to cut the stock 2019 GT quad tips. I'm hoping a good exhaust shop knows what they're doing and preserve the active exhaust and bolt on the new tips. I've asked the vendor that sells the valance and they claims it's just cut and bolt on. Does that make sense?

pretty sure ya just chop em down and they basically just hang inside the new tips. The new tips most likely just bolt to the new valance and not the exhaust them self. Like the gt350.... I wouldnt worry about it and you will still retain the active exhaust

Thanks. Any thought of going GT350 valance/quads vs GT500/quads on a PP2?
