I have the steeda ProAction nonadjustables/progressive springs from my Ecoboost that I want to install on my recently acquired GT vert. Want a better ride as my wife thought this setup was to firm on my eco. I was ok with it but it was a but jumpy at slower speeds. Came into its own at 75+mph. I would like more compliance but don't want to give up performance. Best of both worlds. Eventually I'll upgrade to a mag shock car but for now trying to get this to work. Daily driver with no track use planned.

Want a better ride
Gonna have to step up to a proper shock/spring combo if you want a better ride.

The Steedas will handle well sure, but if you want a good ride on the street they ain't it as you clearly found out in your previous ride.

I honestly don't remember but it wasn't a Steeda product. Possibly cut stock bump stops
Improper cut stock bump-stops will cause the ride you described.
Steeda has our new pre-cut poly foam bump stops which improve ride quality.
The Steeda Progressive springs and our Pro-Action non adjustable shocks are tuned to work well as a combination.

Please pm me if you need any more information.

Wouldn't improper bump stops only be a problem at end of stroke of shock/strut?
My stock stops were cut about an inch shorter.

the progressive springs sit low. IMO too low but you have to really pare back the bump stops to compensate. I had the pro-Active shocks on my EB and they do a decent job on bumps but need more rebound.

Order some Eibach pro-kit bump stops from summit racing. They’re softer, better designed and will help, especially in the rear. Cut stock bump stops are shit and stiff as hell. The Steeda blue poly bump stops are likely pretty stiff as well. @shogun32 and I run the Eibach bump stops and they’re the best.

the Steeda ones are very hard as well so not recommended unless you're using them to artificially limit the degree of chassis roll you want the car to have.
