  1. A sad day... RIP GT350

Buy it back from insurance and resell. You'll make out better in end. Or fix and drive the crap out of it. My GT and Focus RS are both auction cars that I fixed. Now I don't worry about anything happening to them.
  2. Quietest axel-back exhaust

I bought a used Acceletec axle back locally for $150. Was looking for some rumble and no drone as the stock exhaust was super quiet and that's not why I bought the car. Definite deep rumble on startup and idle but no drone on highway. A bit louder than I would have preferred but I'm happy overall.
  3. Best tune for 2018 manifold swap keeping IMRCs on a 2016 GT

Going to run a nonported 2018 intake manifold on a 16 GT manual and want to keep IMRC . Who's best tuner for this? Was considering a SCT X4 with custom tune for $479 from Steeda. Anybody have any experience with it? But my gut says a custom tune would be better. Not racing just a fun cruiser...
  4. Steering wander

My car was hit on right side so maybe I have a tweaked aft control arm mounting flange. This brace was on my eco with no problems so I wouldn't not get it because of my issues. The BMR piece is nice otherwise.
  5. Steering wander

So so far I have determined that my BMR k brace was not allowing me to torque the rear suspension link on front suspension. I removed it and torqued links proper and most of the bad stuff is gone. I'm sure once I figure out the alignment it'll be pretty good. I'll be doing A Torsen 3.73 rear...
  6. Steering wander

Yes car was in accident on right side. Wheel was broken. Probably shifted subframe. So this is first place to start but I found a lot of similar complaints even with good alignment online. I do have the stock wheels with pirellis that I'll try as well to rule out tires.
  7. Steering wander

Pp1 wheels with Michelin PS4S with about 9000 miles on them. They were off my eco with same Steeda stuff My caster is off on right side and that could contribute but it seems like a lot of people have same complaint with even caster. I will be addressing the alignment soon.

  10. Steering wander

So after lots of research online I still can't find resolution. Seems like many people experience this on S550s My car is a 2016 GT vert with full bolt on suspension: Steeda- progressive springs, proaction shocks struts , Steeda front control arms for lowered cars, Eibach sway bars, rear IRS...
  11. Mach 1 as Weekend Car?

My thinking exactly but I did it a slightly different way. Salvage '17 Focus RS and a salvage '16 Mustang GT vert. Been driving the RS and its awesome (winter car) and almost finished with GT. They are total drivers and having been previously abused I don't worry about driving the crap out of...
  12. Anyone use the Steeda Pro-Active shocks/struts?

Going to forge on with the non adjustables for now.
  13. Anyone use the Steeda Pro-Active shocks/struts?

Wouldn't improper bump stops only be a problem at end of stroke of shock/strut? My stock stops were cut about an inch shorter.
  14. Anyone use the Steeda Pro-Active shocks/struts?

I honestly don't remember but it wasn't a Steeda product. Possibly cut stock bump stops
  15. Anyone use the Steeda Pro-Active shocks/struts?

I have the steeda ProAction nonadjustables/progressive springs from my Ecoboost that I want to install on my recently acquired GT vert. Want a better ride as my wife thought this setup was to firm on my eco. I was ok with it but it was a but jumpy at slower speeds. Came into its own at 75+mph. I...

  17. Current or Former Focus RS Owners?
