The reverse light on the mustang is horrible, lol. I dont like using backup cameras only because i dont want to become dependent on them. There are times i will look at it but i prefer using mirrors.

Anyway i found this lightbar that goes on your licence plate. Its 2,700 raw lumens and i think it will work good provided it will fit in the bumper cutout. I ordered it for $75 to try out. I have 3 other cars if it dont fit the mustang, lol.

I've got the diode dynamics XPR and it is 1000% better than the stock light, it still could be brighter.

Waste of money imo I bought 2 bulbs (600 lumens) so not quite as bright as xpr but $20 for a pair. $50 for one bulb is ridiculous

Only one bulb in a S550. Yes it is much brighter, 800 lumens, but I would like more light.

Is it worth it? Only you can decide.

Until I find something better it was worth it to me.

You could get even more ridiculous with these or the VLEDS v6 Tritions. Eventually I'll convince myself to splurge and try them out.

the reverse light is fine, it's our UK/EU/AUS headlights that are shocking! Holy moly they are low on light output

sorry, i should have been more specific - pre facelift EU/UK/AUS cars have 25W lights not the 35W you guys get - post face lift are all LED units, same rating worldwide I believe.. definitely brighter than pre face lift models thats for sure

I believe in the EU they would have had to fit headlamp washers with 35W bulbs, while the 25W ones allowed them to circumvent this rule.
I'm pretty sure you can fit 35W bulbs with minimal changes. I doubt they'd remove the bulbs to check the wattage during an MOT. As long as they're focused correctly you'll be fine.
