Like the title says, if so did it help, hurt or do nothing for power. Did it quiet the sound?

I've got a H pipe on it now and have a X pipe on the shelf just begging to be welded in. Other option is running true duals and adding cherry bombs.(bullet resonators)

Hello; I will follow the thread. My general impression has been they do pretty much the same thing, but that means little. It will be of interest to learn about this.

It made quite a mellow sound. Unusual. No idea what it did/didnt do for power.

Tried an X on my 2018 GT and the Mach 1, as well as the Magnaflow Tru-X on the GT, and took all three off after about a day. For some reason the volume was not as balanced with an X, like it was loud at low RPM but at a certain band in the range, like maybe 4-5K, it got quieter. Put an H on the 2018 with stock mufflers and liked it but ended up with the stock resonator and LTH Scorpion axle-backs and loved it. Running a Summit H with one Vibrant resonator in the driver's side leg with the Mach active exhaust and love it. No noticeable change in power with any of them.

Borla Switchfire? Does both in one piece.

I was wondering about using both at the same time.

 ooooh, sorry Dan, I did not catch that you were asking about using both an X and H simultaneously. I'd be really interested in hearing what comes out of that if you do end up putting something together.

that Borla Switchfire sounds bonkers, not sure I'd want to hear that all the time

Study what a crossover pipe does and the answer becomes obvious.
It balances the banks.

I've seen double X and double H pipes but never a H and X pipe. I need to add resonators and I have a X pipe section, guess I'll try it before I add the resonators. That is if I ever get my car back from the body shop.
