I think I would actually love my premium completely if my options worked, I just posted in "cooled seats not cooling" and came to realize that I leased my car, call me a cheap A$$ but damn I want some compensation ... I only will have the car for two years, and my dealer doesn't have a fix .... So it's wasted money for this option that I can't even enjoy during the time of temporary ownership.

This is just like renting an apartment that the bedroom was competed so you could use all the other rooms except the bedroom and you still paid full price for the year, on top of that the shaker sub rattles so loud that to me it sounds like the rear window is coming unstuck from the seal..... To those who bought, I get it, it will be fixed and then you'll own the car and enjoy it, but I'm "essentially Renting" the car and if the options do t work and I'm getting a run around from my dealer it's completely unacceptable ...

That's a terrible analogy...I hope you didn't buy the premium package (I'm not talking about 201A/401A) for just cooled seats, because it's more than that. The cooled seats work, just not for the seat backs. I'm not giving the engineers a pass here - it definitely should be fixed. I've passed on the info. to Ford/engineering team.

I'm coming from a world of German cars, so I'm thrilled this option is even available for a $30-40k car. I appreciate the upscale interior touches that premium package adds. Let me put it this way, I wouldn't buy a new Mustang without it.

I know I sound completely b$&@!$& on the subject but I've had soooo many cars and so far only my fords have had the issues, do I think it's a reason not to buy ford, no because ford still makes things I like, but I certainly do not like being told, "oh that's normal" and passing the buck when I tried to get the issue repaired

You absolutely have a reason to voice your concern. Like I said in my post, I'm not giving Ford a pass on the design of the ventilated seats. That shouldn't have got past through design/QC process. On the other hand, it is first world problem if I've ever heard of one :p

I came from a 2006 Wrangler with A/C problems...one cooled buttcheek is luxury to me :headbonk:

(Not making light of the Ford's QC issues.)

I love my 401A. I like everything about it (and I've never been a big Mustang guy). The seat stuff, I agree. I don't use the heat/cool function, but it should work...so shame on Ford. I bought mine for looks and power. If I didn't care about looks, I would have bought a base model and had a supercharger put in. As for now, I'm just trying my best to stay ticket-free.

The stock interior with cloth seats is just not my cup of tea...the premium package was a must!

I'm going to head back to the dealer and make sure this stuff gets fixed. I do like my premium, you guys are right, there are a lot of nice options and i like what is offered. I just want the things to work

Satisfied, no regrets at all. I did my homework/joined this forum to become smart about what I wanted, God bless my salesman, he just wanted to make a sale, was not familiar with all the bells and whistles a buying customer could order. I ordered my car just the way I wanted it.

I love my premium. It just looks, well premium especially on the inside where I spend most of my time with the car.
