I thought only the seat base heated and cooled. That's why I didn't go for them as it seemed pointless if you still ended up with a sweaty back.

The heated seats in my Disco 3 were great as the backs heating up were great source of comfort to my own back which kills me after a day at work.
there apparently is a flaw that prevents the back from cooling, F150 forums are complaining about it too

I didn't get premium, so I didn't answer the poll, but I have a base interior in my GT and I love it. I don't like leather seats, because they are slippery. Also, they are too hard and cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Plus to me I have a lot of better uses for the extra cash.

I had to get the base too because leather is just too hot for me (and I wanted the Recaros badly this time around so I would lose the cooling:doh:). I also hate the little hub. Though the base interior is still pretty nice, especially compared to the previous mustangs. I implore everyone to sit in a 11-14 base car at least once :D

the only reason that I got premium over base is that I couldn't stand the tiny screen in the base mode.

Had base trim on my 13 GT and regretted not getting the premium. Got the premium on this one and love everything about it.
Exact same situation as me... My 13' was a Base model. I love the premium on my 15 so much more. Just brings the car interior to a whole new level.

I don't think you will find anyone who regrets this option.
I'd bet that most of the people who would have regretted it chose not to get it in the first place. But maybe that makes too much sense, because I guess we're all supposed to keep wanting more instead of being satisfied with enough.

Why regret getting it, be like having a big dick and wishing it were smaller or being 6'4 and chisled and wishing you were a foot shorter and frumpy (some comedian said something along those lines, just wish I remember who)

Worst thing about premium is it added some $$$ to the cost of the car, after that, you for a nicer interior that has fancy features even some Germans don't offer at the price range (cooled seats, a god send)

Regret? Hell no. Well, except for the Shaker. But you already know that. :-)

The base screen/center stack was worth the money to me in its self. Also I don't keep cars long, so resell is something I look at when buying cars. So a premium GT was do or die for me.

Poor analogies. But to me and FWIW, being "6'4 and chiseled" means NOT packed with features that have little or nothing to do with the car's mechanical performance or the driver's ability to physically operate it. A little body fat in the form of a basic sound system and places to put stuff is one thing. Touch screens, SYNC, and MFT are pure chunks of belly fat here.

When you actively do not want certain features, you will end up regretting the fact that they were pushed on you over your better judgment (possibly even over your stated objection). Maybe it's the salesman that you really hate, but you'll take it out on your car at least subconsciously in the form of regret.

Nicer and fancier than whatever level you'd be happy with would not necessarily be a good thing even if it was free. Trust me on this.

Hey guys,

I decided to go all out with my EB so I got the saddle leather premium with the heated and cooled seats (which don't work worth a damn) and the shaker system that rattles and vibrates which drives me crazy. I actually like the seats a bit I'm disappointed that my cooled seats barely work. On a day that's 80 degrees or higher, I can't even tell if they are on. They certainly don't work like other cooled seats in ford vehicles I've had before. For the money I could have saved I could have also had the recaro seats. Also I use the SD card slot for my music and every other day it decided to "re-index" and won't play for 5 mins and then takes 20 minutes for me to be able to navigate... Are any of you guys having the same feelings toward this package at all? Lastly I'm disappointed that some of the options can't be separated, like leather seats without the heated and cooled option, 3.55 without the PP, and also the fact that the recaros are not available with the convertible... What's up with that?
I love it (401a with shaker) except for the fact that the back of the seats blow out hot air instead of cool!
