A quote borrowed from a coworker, and repeated by me many times;

'You never hear anyone say, I wish I would have got a V6'
I drive like a maniac most of the time and I am seeing about 25mpg , about half the miles in the city and half on the highway.

I've owned several 4 cylinder turbo's and v6's. Nothing wrong with them and I'll probably own them again down the road. I've never owned a v8 though, and after test driving one I wanted it :p .

What people forgot is the v6 and ecoboost are more powerful than the v8's of 10 years ago and get better gas mileage doing it. Heck I remember when a 200hp v6 was considered a powerful car lol. My bosses old 2003 mustang gt had 260hp.

It'll be interesting to see what Ford does with the mustang in the future. EPA regs might force them to move off the v8 to something like a twin turbo v6, which would actually be pretty awesome, it works for the GTR :)
