I ordered a Gt with Performace Package, and Recaros. Now with all the reviews that are available is there anyone that is considering changing their order from the v8 to the Eco. Since I can get a fully loaded Eco for the same price as my gut is making think I want the Eco. Any cons that yall can give me on the Eco vs the Gt. Besides the ovious mpg, power, ect. The only reason I'm considering this that I can't wait till Christmas to get my car lol.

^ lol no

wait till Christmas for the GT. You will have buyers remorse if that is what you are originally wanting and you downgrade to the ecobooster

I have seen nothing in any of the reviews that would persuade me to change from a GT to an ecoboost.

I was under the impression that all mustangs (not just gt) were in short supply. Is this not the case?

If you really want the driving characteristics of the ecoboost, just grab a small turbo and put it on the GT. Even with 6-8 psi of boost people are getting well over 600 hp on the old GT, so if you add in a turbo that spools quickly you'll get all the low end torque while maintaining the v8 sound on the inside. You would lose some exhaust tone, but the sound resonator will at least allow you to keep the cabin purring.

If anything the reviews would further solidify my choice. What do you mean by "since all the reviews came out"? They're glowing for the GT PP specifically.

Only thing Ive considered is using my GT with PP for track and play car and picking up a EB Premium next year as a DD.

Yea I see that they are glowing for the the PP but Ican't use all the power all the time in the Gt. Then that 31 mpg is really looking good. Also you have ford racing that changed a few things and had a ecoboost that competes with stock Gt's. But at the same time there's no replacement for displacement and that legendary coyote roar. If I can get 20mpg or 25 going 10/10 all the time that's something I'm interested in. I just didn't know that when I ordered in August.

you dont need all that power "ALL" the time, just knowing that you have it when needed should solidify your choice

I wouldn't say that. The new 2.7 nano V6 is a monster, as in laughably more powerful than the current 3.7 and smaller many I4s.

Not back to eco boost so far today yet :).

Right now I've developed an itch for the 6 and a quick phone call for intake & exhaust & a performance tune.

Really, I do not think there is a less than great option to be had.

I really wish I could afford a gt Premium w/pp. I would of ordered that with no hesitation. Unfortunately I can't afford to live paycheck to paycheck. Now I'm stuck with the ecoboost
