Anyone order back mats? Thinking of Lloyd mats- what is the right color?

I was wondering if anyone has ordered a set of back floor mats for their Mustang S550. I have the black interior with white or light gray stitching.

Do I order black or is the Dark Gray the better choice to match?

Might not be what you are looking for but I will share anyway

I opted for the ford all weather matts - they fit really well and match the boot liner :

They are not the fanciest matt, but they are mostly hidden and they will protect well if / when required.

You have to buy a set of four ... but at least I have the fronts if I ever use the car in conditions that need them

Not 100% what you're looking for but I would recommend Weathertech for mats all day! I've had them in my truck basically since new and will never not have them again. Super durable, easy to clean, and not a bad style for what they are and are designed to do. Might be worth the look! Good luck in your search!

I was looking for the backseat carpet mats. I already have the all weather front and back seat mats. The car only comes with carpeted front seat mats and , as far as I can tell, no option for back.

My OEM mats and floor carpet look darker which is why I am thi9nking black. Excuse the fac they need a vacuuming

I have the Lloyd’s from when I bought my 50th anniversary set for my 15’ EB. Honestly once they are in place you can’t see them. I would go with black with white stitching to match the rest of the interior.

If you want Lloyd's best "Luxury" mats, order directly from Lloyd's. Lloyd's makes cheaper versions, which is what 3rd party vendors sell.

I called Lloyds directly, and ordered their best Luxury front, rear and trunk mats.

yeah, that was what we are doing for the back mat too.


Want to go with the Ultimat in black with black premium binding with white stitching (to match my stitching)

FYI to all, Lloyd is sending me a couple dark gray chips to compare.

Their suggestion though was to use the black.

When I get them, i will let everyone know which way I go and, should I get them (someone is thinking as a Christmas Gift), will show what they look like installed)
