Yes the third brake light leak is common, on all levels of late model mustangs. Pizz poor design with useless plastic tape seal. I replaced mine with after market with a good gasket seal and added small bead of silicone around the inside of gasket. No more leaks.

Read post 6. I explained what I ment, cannot ‘just bolt on Gen2 on Gen3 without changing the oil pickup.

Sorry if I caused confusion. The gen2 pan will fit, but the oil pick up has to be changed. Check with your builder to determine what oil pan was used. The gen2 pan requires 8 qts of oil. The gen3 pan requires 10 qts of oil. Your builder should know what pan was used, thus how much oil to use.

With a gen 3 oil pan, 10qts. A gen 2 oil pan is not a simple bolt-on to gen 3 block. I assume you used a gen 3 pan.
