Has anyone installed kick plates on the lower interior of their doors? Curious if they stay on? Or if anyone has had issues with damage or discoloration after removing?

I bet they wouldn't have an issue staying on just like any other double adhesion, but I don't think they look good imo. that said, I don't foresee discoloring anything, its not a direct sunlight spot in car.

My blue magic or lexol leather cleaner works fine cleaning scuffs in that area over time.

Mentioned elsewhere: I had this kind of door protectors on an MG BGT, very happy with how they did their job. They were made of carpet material, mounted with small screws and washers at the bound edges. I left the top edge screwless, so the thing became a useful pocket. Once I find time and ambition, I'll make a pattern and have an upholstery shop make a pair for my Mustang.
