The only thing which comes to my mind: if this thing is so important why factories does not install one?
Even a simple one not necessary aluminum etc.

It's maintenance. The average person does not understand nor will want to change or empty it. It's the same reason they made the overflow tank clear now. It's so a non car person can look at it and say "I need coolant"

You should see the Ecoboost trucks. They fill up a 20ounces coke bottle after 2k miles. Esp if you are in a area that gets snow.

I read something about that some time ago, but my conclusion was that the advantages are moderate compared to having another part to be serviced :D

I have seen UPR does not ship abroad.

If some are interested (as I am :D), lethal performance usually has good shipping costs for the EU and other countries (in my case Switzerland):

EDIT: Oops my bad you do ship internationally :) , to get a quote on the shipping costs do we just have to write an email to [email protected] and list all the products we want?
You can email me at [email protected]

I can help you no problem.

I ordered the UPR one has it seems to really be top notch in regards to other manufacturers. I will make a video or pictures for the installation once I receive it.
Thanks. Looking forward to ;)

Hi Steve, could you shed some light on this please?

After doing some research and seeing the pic's in this thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/show...t=UPR+Catchcan I figured I better rewrite my post as I do seem to have a o-ring issue indeed.

Recap previous post: Emptied my can at 4000KM (installed the can at 2500KM) and noticed that the exterior was very moisture's (smelling like fuel) and the O-ring was at the exterior of the can. (Still is as it comes out when closing the can)
Also the first 2 rings on the inside seem to have dropped down.

I'm wondering if it's safe to drive like this as I must have been driving like this for some time now?
Ill better go find an o-ring replacement at a local store tomorrow. Could you tell me what size and if it's alright to choose a stronger/tighter/thicker O-Ring?

Thx

I responded to your email just now.

If the can seals, I would leave it be until you get the new ones.

Thanks.
Thanks for the fast response a shipping Steve!

I'm still on factory oil, or maybe the temprature dunno, it does really smells like fuel though and is pretty liquid. I kept the bottle and will see in the morning if it's changed in color or if some dirt has dropped..

From past experiences...this usually means there is moisture in the system weather it's from condensation or coolant...

If it's from coolant then his motor is in deep shit.
