Yes, sorry i tried to go through all my threads where this was mentioned and put the fix in... must have missed this one.

Mine was acting up badly so i decided to pull the wires out and start again, looked at the wiring instructions from the american forum then looked at the power markings on the red & yellow cables. Turned out they were the other way round, so Yellow to 23 & Red to 2. Et voila, fixed and works without issue now.
Seriously? Wow... that's awesome dude. Thanks. You've just saved my Saturday :D

Now that we've finally got our parking modes working, how are people finding the feature?

Reviewed mine today - after discovering someone had 'finger wrote' all down one side of the car - fume!

However, being parked on the street, it's activated almost all the time with cars and people going by, so just had footage from the morning (there's limited space on the card and it overwrites itself). Same thing happens if it's raining as the rain just triggers the motion record all the time. A good feature, but there are limitations.

The 'collision log' is just loads of files of me pratting about opening and closing the boot. Better than a real collision I suppose.

Can you not turn the sensitivity down on it?

You can, I've got it on second from lowest. It's not as if I need to filter out leaves rustling in the trees though. There's no getting around the fact that cars, people and even rain on the windscreen are all going to trigger it. Also, unless you have a huge hard-drive in the car, there's always going to be limited storage.

Dashcam Thinkware F750 ???

I find that the parking mode and incident mode features work quite well. For example hard braking will trigger an incident recording.

I've turned off the speed camera and lane warning features.

I have a little collection of microSD cards in the car so that if I need to review something I can immediately pull the card from the Thinkware F750 and replace with a fresh one so that anything important doesn't get overwritten.

I try to use my 128 GB microSD so that I have as much history as possible.

I can confirm that this card (from Amazon) works

Samsung Evo Plus Evo+ 128gb Microsdhc 128gb Class 10 Mb-mc128d with Adapter Trr® Uhs-i Card

Yes, sorry, thinkware 750.

I recall that cards over 64GB weren't recommended (can't recall why), but if you've found your card works OK, I get one myself, as it'll double the 'motion record' time.

Coda to the hardwire story - I bought an F770 from Amazon and the box had a big sticker on the side saying Yellow wire = permanent power, (Fuse 2 for us) , Red wire = ignition switched, (Fuse 23 for us)

That means the original instructions on the US forum were correct for my camera and Big G's were reversed. Thinkware must have changed the instructions again, or the wire colours, or something. Works fine now anyway and the 770 has a cool white Knight Rider type LED strip on the front of the camera in parking mode.

Mustang is watching you, miscreants, footpads, guttersnipes and other nefarious characters :ninja::ninja:

The 750 has the 'Glen A Larson' light as well but it's white, not red.

This new 770 looks great. Much more discreet than the 750 (I bought) for a start.
