Anyone else have this transmission noise when driving the car with a specific throttle position in gear? Its sounds like a rotating noise, but goes away when the throttle is depressed more or depressed less. Its caused by a certain throttle position while in gear.

My car is a 2018 (MT-82) GT with 600 miles, purchased brand new, build date is May

Sounds similar to the video in this thread (first post):

Not sure if there was other stuff going on with his car, or if his problem was the cause of the transmission noise. This noise is annoying and noticeable. This is my first mustang, came from a Focus ST and SRT-4, so not sure about these transmission noises.

Well I listened to the video and did not really hear anything that noticeable. I also have my first Mustang GT- 2018, 6 speed manual. I have had WRX's, Civic SI's, Mazda Miatas and a Chevy Camaro. I hear a rattling noise coming from the engine- when the engine and oil are cold it's more noticeable although would say it's more or less normal. And it's in the engine, not the trans as I hear it when in gear and when in neutral, not moving. Other than that I do not hear anything unusual like you describe. My car has 1400 miles on it.

See if it does it in neutral when driving it and coast, see if it happens when you depress the throttle and rev it a little. That way you will know if is an engine or trans noise.

Around a little more than 2000 RPM I'm assuming?
Go away if you move the shifter a little to the side? My 3rd gear in my '17 is the noisiest.. But I don't stay there long.. :)

Go away after everything is warmed up?

It is around 2000 RPM, starts before that point, normally more around 1800 RPM. Haven't noticed a change with the shifter to the side. But I can't say that I tried that. The car is in the dealer now along with a intermittent tick when warm. I'll report back with the results.
