Any VINs assigned today?

I got my vin this morning as well, but no build date. I got mine quicker than the usual that I've been seeing on here and I only have a priority 15.

Looks like things have been moving pretty quickly for me compared to some of you. I ordered on 3/3 and I received my VIN today. Jeff (FordService) said my build week is 3/30.

UPDATE

I got assigned a VIN today! Don't have a "build date" yet though. They also changed my order#! Don't know why but that's OK. That's probably why I couldn't pull my car up on COTUS! Anyway, I'm very pleased.

Thanks for that info Todd but as long as I have a VIN, I'm ok with waiting. The dealer told me it would be mid April and the way it looks now, I think that'll hold true....It's been 8 weeks today. A little longer won't kill me....

Seems like a wide variance on the ordered/VIN assignment timeline. I ordered mine on 3/11 (knowing the dealer put orders in on that day) and have my VIN today (3/13)... others seem to take MUCH longer. I know there's allocation to consider but sheesh!

I'm hoping my priority 10 and rapid order-to-VIN status gets my car in the build queue quickly.

Looking at mid-May right now... but Cinco de Mayo would be just perfect! For no other reason than to give me another excuse to have a margarita.

You should be able to contact FordService on the forums or your dealer and get your estimated build week. It's probably 3/30 or 4/6. You can also look up several of the mustangs on your dealers lot in COTUS by grabbing the VINs from the dealers website. This will let you get an estimate of how long shipping will take to your area.

I ordered on 3/9/15 and was surprised to see I got a vin already on 3/12/15. My dealer did put a priority of 10 on the DORA and I believe it said retail order which may have sped things up a bit

Had a call from my Salesman Friday night. He said he had talked to the Factory Rep earlier in the day and got a tentative build date of the week of April 6th. Hopefully that would put the car here by the end of April. Good enough for me!
