I agree with this but some dealers are more willing to work on modified cars than others. From my experience it's up to the dealer if a repair is covered or not.

^^ THIS! It's Ford's decision in the end but it is HEAVILY influenced by the dealer. I believe (don't know) that the dealer is authorized to make decisions for smaller $ warranty repairs.
