No issues here I back into every parking spot and I installed a curb alert up front incase I cant back in for some reason. saved me twice so far from ripping my front end apart. no rubbing either
Is this the one AM sells? If so what do you think about it so far?

Just installed BMR sp089 minimum drops in the front and sp082 in the rear and I'm very happy. Ride quality is superb.

I have Steeda Progressives and have had no issues with rubbing or bottoming out.
No rubbing, even with aftermarket wheels. I'm on steeda progressives.

If you're on stock wheels (with no spacers), you shouldn't have to worry about rubbing.

No real regrets here. The only issue I had was getting over bad habits when it came to inclines, dips, and bumps. You gotta be mindful of them and take em easy. You shouldn't have an issue clearing most things.
No regrets here, Steeda Progressives ftw
Steeda progressives here, 0 issues.

Lowered on the Steeda progressive springs and added 1" wheel spacers all around. The ride quality is better than it was stock and performs much better. No rubbing, issues or regrets and I love the stance with a very slight rake. I do have other things done to my suspension to help stiffen it though, see sig. Driving this car is SO fun!
Now that's a review!

I am getting ready to lower my car and have been debating the different brands. Looks like the Steeda progressives are consensus.
They are our most popular spring for a reason :)

Any pictures? I bought the front minimum set only to get a little rake.

Lowered with Ford Racing Track Handling Pack. I don't regret lowering it, but I do regret getting 325/30/19s in the rear (MRR M350 rims) because of the extra .5" wheel gap. On stock diameter tires, the stance would look better, so I'll be getting 305/35/19s when my rears wear out.

Lowered with Steeda Ultralight Linears. No regrets on the choice, but it seems to handle worse now. Strange that when I first got them I thought it improved.
My opinion is that the PP shocks are not up to the task and the bouncing is worse than before, this might not be as noticable with progressives. Bumpsteer and understeer is very noticable, and tramlining is worse than it was and it wasn't great stock. All of these issues are not a big deal at speeds below, say 90 or 100mph except for the bounciness. Cruising at 80 is just fine, so if you're not going faster then then go for it. I
I like the lowered look and I'm hoping the ride will improve when my konis come in. For the bumpsteer I'm looking at Steeda's product and some swaybars and rear subframe bushings and braces to fix everything up.

Also:
I have 25mm spacers all around and get no rubbing.

Good luck
Shane

How much does a ~1 inch drop affect daily driving? I've never driven a lowered car before.

Just makes things a little more firm (if dampened properly). Our cars start out pretty high off the ground so 1" lower is like BMW bumper height so you're fine.

If someone would make stiffer springs with zero drop in back and about .5" drop up front, I'd probably be into them, myself. I don't really feel the need to go lower, just correct a reverse rake and springs that aren't stiff enough.

No regrets, running Steeda Linear Ultralites, no rubbing, looking to do spacers at somepoint. Just be mindfull of driveways and parking lots if your not familar with driving a lowered car. Approach at angles.

Heres a comparison of mine versus stock PP

Will I have to go through dips and bumps angled as I've seen others do with a 1 inch drop?
