Any recommendation for mud flaps/rock guards?

I've been searching and see zl1 website recommended a lot.

Some people complained about the deluxe ones but that was from 2017. Any recommendations for base GT with 275s. No spacers. 20s. Want something as hidden as possible; I don't even drive it much in the rain/snow but sometimes in the winter i'd rather minimize the amount of salt getting kicked up even if its not snowing, roads are still salted.

zl1 still the way to go?

Installation tips or just use the tape provided? See lots of issues with these coming off..

I purchased the ZL1s about 2 years ago. I bought the regular ones...NOT deluxe. I have had ZERO issues with mine. Mind you, my car is parked during winter months. So not as much wear and tear. But I can only comment on what I know.

What I do like about the ZL1s is you can’t really notice them. Very stealth.

I installed front and rear Deluxe ZL1 rock guards back in May 2017. I did have an issue with front guards coming loose shortly after installing. Contacted ZL1 and they promptly sent me new double sided tape which has held since. The tape only holds the upper section of the front guard, the bottom is attached with 3 factory push pin fasteners. Good customer service/support. Coming up on 2 years and they are still firmly attached. My car is a DD if that matters.

Oh scratch that, front and rear is $60 for standard with zl1, vs $100 with the other one. Not as bad of a difference now. $30 was just the fronts.

Just did rokblokz on mine a few weeks ago and they are worth the money.

The American Muscle ones are !#$!^^ expensive. I have all 4 of them on the car. Very durable and larger than the other brands. They do have the Pony emblem and seem to cover more underneath the fender to protect the rear bumper valence.

Price is tough to swallow-but I do like the looks of them.
