I had a 15 EcoBoost PP and now I have a 16 GT PP and can tell you that the Eco was less floaty than my GT. I believe that the difference has a bit to do with weight. Currently I have Steeda Progressive Sport springs with the factory shocks and struts and the factory dampers are awful, imo, way to soft and bouncy for my taste. Mine is a DD and I doubt that I will ever track my car. I prefer a firmer ride, not harsh but firm. Between the bouncy feeling and the minor bump steer it's driving me a little crazyI have a 15 ecoboost with steeds progressive springs and would like to upgrade the shocks and struts to lessen the floating I feel. I don't see a lot of people that are happy with there PP suspension but most cars at 2015. Are there any difference for 2016's that would make it worthwhile to find a used set and put on.
I'm planning my next round of suspension mods and I'm planning to go with Steeda shocks and struts, rear strut mounts, camber plates, G Track brace, and bump steer kit. This should increase the steering response and help feed more connected to the road.
I am absolutely in love with this car and it's also the first car that I have ever modded. I love all of the Steeda suspension goodies I have so far and I am sticking with all Steeda because I don't have any added NVH and I don't want to mix BMR with Steeda because everything is designed to work together. Nothing wrong with BMR at all and both companies make quality parts and great customer service, you can't go wrong with either.
