Quick update,
Literally just finished installing my new Solo Mach XV catback.

Out with the old

In with the new
[/IMG]

It took me a little under two hours to fit (a lot of that was aligning the tips - think I need to adjust the drivers side a little).

The whole fitting process was pretty easy (if I can do it, really anyone can. Having a pit in my garage helped).

The old catback is a heavy bit of metal!

Haven't test fired it yet. Wife asleep and garage is under bedroom window. Will do this tomorrow. Oooooo the excitement!

Please video the test fires and such! I would love to hear it fresh!

Looks the biz, and saved you a bit of weight i bet ;). Good job, think you're the first UK'er with a Solo exhaust.

P.s how did u get under the car? I'm planning on getting an exhaust, however, still need to find a place i'd get under the car for taking the exhaust off...

Like I mentioned above, I have a pit in my garage ( you can see the boards covering the pit in the pic showing rear of the car).

However, you can do this with some ramps or axle stands

By the way, do you ever sleep?

Ah yes, missed that! that's pretty genius if i'm honest (The pit).

Gonna make shift a ramp when I do it i guess...

Erm... i sleep like midnight until like 5-6am, depends on the day, or what's going on for me to get up, tend to not hit the forums until 9ish and disappear around 11 ;). If you're looking for the quiet non-manders hours that is!

It's pretty bloody solid. Plan is to mount it on the wall (along with the original wheels).

If I keep going, at this rate I will have a whole car hanging on the garage wall!

Took a day off from work to take a drive through the Cotwolds. Not even the drizzly rain could put a damper on the day.

While there, popped into Modurstang and had these bad boys fitted:-

Some Steeda differential bushes
[/IMG]

And a set of BMR CB005 cradle lockout kit
[/IMG]

Thanks to the guys at Modurstang. Even though one of the Steeda bushes didn't want to play ball, they persisted and did a great job.

First impressions from the drive back is that I didn't actually hear any additional NVH or vibration. Maybe I'm not very sensitive to this sort of thing, but I couldn't really tell.

The floatyness of the rear end has defo reduced. Couldn't really give it much beans from a standstill as the roads were still damp and greasy from shite weather.

If anyone is on the fence with fitting both of these, then based on my small run, I would say don't be. Just be sure it's fitted correctly and I believe it will be fine.

Go for it and enjoy.

Didnt go down the cheapest route. Had the stripes imported from Bigworm Graphix. Then, had them fitted locally to me. Fit and finish are fantastic.
When I enquirer about importing stripes from Big worm I was told they do not ship outside the US. How did you get them over here, did you use another middle man?

You can use stackry. Send them there and they will forward them on to you. Most companies do free shipping in the us so you don't have to pay twice
Apart from BW Graphix who do charge a small amount!
