If I rev'd it next to a standard GT, she might then notice a difference, but until then, as far as I'm concerned, ignorance is bliss:-

Wife
"I hear lots of people are spending lots of money on modifying their car. Are you?"

Me
"Of course not, wouldn't dare spend that much without your knowledge. By the way, have I told you how pretty, young and intelligent you look today"

;)

If anyone is on the fence with fitting both of these, then based on my small run, I would say don't be. Just be sure it's fitted correctly and I believe it will be fine.
Go for it and enjoy.
I'd just like to confirm that I did fit mine correctly:):)

I have no doubt about that after watching your vids.

Like I said, I just may not be very sensitive about Changes in NVH. I defo do not have any vibration with these additions. I may also be lucky where manufacturing tolerances stack up in my favour.

It's just a shame it didn't work for you.

My wife is a saint !!!

For Father's Day from the kids she bought me a boot liner thing and ordered a pro alloy header tank.

She knows I want wheels, springs, exhaust back and a few other things, but is fine as she knows it's my baby. I just need to make sure I finish all the decorating in the house before our holiday and treat her whilst we are away !

Tried to explain to the insurance company about my latest mods (the Steeda Bushings and lock out kit) but they just didn't get it!

Those that have the same mods, what/how did explain what the mods are/do to inform them?

Would they not quote you? I'd call them suspension changes. Maybe not strictly correct but as long as you refer to the parts you should be ok.

New little update,

had my BMR springs fitted today by the guys at Modurstang (thanks Mike and team).

The rears are the drag sp088 springs, while the fronts are the performance minimum drop sp089 springs

Couldn't be happier.

Although the spring rates are higher then the stock springs, the ride feels a lot smoother, less harsh, and even more of a joy to drive.

The guys did a great job fitting them, and while they did, it gave me the opportunity to chat away with Mike, talking about our cars and planned mods.

Also, just a heads up, Mike mentioned that unless customers who had their exhaust replaced pick up their stick exhausts, he is planning of welding them together into an exhaust tree. Very artistic!

Yep.....that's a nice drop:).....

Regarding ride, my car is also slightly firmer, but somehow more controlled on the roads, even the wife said that the car seems more comfortable, and she's normally super critical of my mods:paddle::paddle::D

If you can run to new ARB's sometime, you should definitely consider them:)
